This unique product is an encapsulated Salicylic Acid in Sodium Polyacrylate matrix that renders salicylic acid water-soluble for various applications in personal care and cosmetics including anti-acne, anti-microbial, Sebum control, anti-inflammation, and exfoliation. It is developed to overcome the existing challenges in developing water-based salicylic acids; poor solubility in water-based systems, precipitation of salicylic acid in cosmetics, and most importantly skin irritations resulting from poor solubility of salicylic acid.
